Other countries are lagging behind. The United States of America is at 78 years, whereas most of the sub-Saharan Africa countries have a life expectancy of around 40 to 50 years.
Statistics are giving girls hope in Japan. A Japanese Girl born today is likely to live up to year 2095. There are many of them who might also have the possibility to enjoy the dawn of the coming century, since they have the world’s highest life expectancy. This is what WHO proclaimed in May 2009.
Interestingly, a small nation known as San Marino ranked with the highest longevity for men. In the tiny nation, the average lifespan for men is at 81 years. The average life expectancy in the United States for both sexes is at 78 years.
The worse scenario of life expectancy is for Men born or living in Sierra Leone, which has the world’s lowest average life expectancy. It is only at a feeble 39 year.
