The Ten Mysteries to Leading a Happy Life has been Unveiled

Deepak Chopra – The Ten Keys to Happiness.

The emotional well being of a person cannot be separated from his physical well being. The people who are happy are people who are healthy. The wisdom of ancients traditions have repeatedly told us that our real happiness is not based on what we have but on who we are. It is worthwhile to take a pause to reflect on what are the causes that really creates happiness in us.

Below are provided ten keys that have been brought together from past wisdom tradition that may help in providing some insight.

1. It is crucial to listen to one’s body’s intelligence. It expresses itself through various signals of comfort and discomfort. While choosing a specific behavior, question your body about how it feels about this behavior. Proceed only if your body sends a signal that it is comfortable and eager to engage in that particular behavior.

2. The present is the only moment that you are sure to have, therefore live in the present and make the most of it. Be focused on what is here and now. Search for the fullness in each moment. Learn to accept what comes your way in its totality so that you are able to appreciate it, learn lessons from it and let it go if the need arises. The present is always as it should be. The latter reflects the infinite laws of Nature that bring a person this precise thought, this exact physical response. The present moment as it is for the universe is as it. Do not fight against this infinite scheme of things. On the contrary one should do the effort to try to be at one with it.

3. Take out some time to remain silent, to do some meditation in order to quiet your internal dialogue. It is during moments of complete silence that one can experience the reconnection with his own source of pure awareness. By paying attention to one’s inner life, a person will be guided by his intuition instead of being influenced by interpretations that are imposed on him externally of what is good or not for him.

4. Give up your requirement for external consent. You are the sole person that can judge your worth and your objective it to find out the unbounded worth within yourself, regardless of what any other person might think about you. You will experience a great freedom once you realize this.

5. When you find that you are responding angrily or in opposition to any person, recognize that you are in fact only struggling with your own self. Building resistance is only a response of defense that is created by past hurts. It is only when you let go of your anger that you will be able to completely heal yourself and hence be able to cooperate with the flow of the universe.

6. Recognize that the external world is in reality a reflection of your inner self. The persons, to whom you react to most strongly, be it with love or hate, are in fact mere projections of your inner world. Aspects of what you hate the most in somebody are solely the things that you deny most strongly in yourself. While the things that you love most, are the things that you actually deeply wish for in yourself. Allow the mirror of relationships to be your guide in your evolution. The ultimate goal is complete self-knowledge. Once you have achieved that, whatever you want most will automatically be present and whatever you detest the most will simply disappear.

7. Discard the burden of being judgmental – you will instantly feel much lighter. Judgments impose correct and incorrect on situations that are simply there. There is nothing that cannot be understood or forgiven. But when you start judging you will undeniably cut off from any sort of understanding and shut down every process of learning to love. While judging others, you are only reflecting the lack of self-acceptance in you. Keep in mind that each person that you are able to forgive will add to your self-love.

8. Do not infect your body with toxins, be it through the food that you eat, the drinks that you consume or even through the toxic emotions that you experience. The human body is far more than a life-support system. It is the vehicle that will transport you on your expedition of evolution. The good health of every single cell contributes directly to your overall state of well being. This is so as each cell is a point of awareness that is found within the field of awareness that is in you.

9. Substitute any behavior that is motivated by fear with one which is love-motivated. Fear is the result of memory that resides in the past. By constantly remembering the things that have hurt you before, you actually direct all of your energies toward making sure that an old hurt will not be reproduced. However by trying to impose the past on your present, you will not succeed in wiping the risk of being hurt again. That will take place only when you are able to find the security of your own being and that is love. When you are motivated by the truth that resides in you, you will be able to face any threat as you will have your inner strength, which is invulnerable to fear, to support you.

10. Know that the external physical world is just a reflection of a far deeper intelligence. This intelligence is the unseen organizer of every energy and matter. And since there is a portion of this intelligence that is found within you, you share in the organizing power of the universe. Therefore as you are inseparably connected with everything else you can afford to tamper with the planet’s water or air. But at a much deeper level, you cannot also afford to live a life that is contaminated with toxic thoughts. Because each thought makes has an impact on the whole field of intelligence. Therefore living a balanced life with the greatest purity is the greatest good both for you and for the Earth.
