Research is steadily supporting stem cell medicines. Recently, a group of scientists in collaboration with “Medistem Inc”, made a hypothesis that a particular stem cell known as endothelial progenitor cell that circulates in our blood stream plays a basic role in assuring longevity and healthiness. This theory was enhanced by using a special food supplement, Stem-Kine and it appeared that it increased the quantity of these cells.
A research published in December 2009 entitled “Circulating endothelial progenitor cells: a new approach to anti-aging medicine?” describes how endothelial dysfunction are associated to many age related conditions such as cardiovascular as well as degenerative mental and sexual functioning. Apparently, all these declining abilities are related to a drop in the level endothelial progenitor cells in circulation and thereby causing a fall in healing abilities.
Many clinical trials have been performed on these cells, depicting their significance in healing and repairing internal organs. However, according to, Dr. Doru Alexandrescu from Georgetown Dermatology, one of the co-author of the publication stated, “this is the first comprehensive blueprint… of how this knowledge may be applied to the question of aging.”
The research paper came up with viable interventions to stabilize the level of endothelial cells in circulations and this thus by virtue limit or as well as reverse age-related predicaments. Something particularly interesting that came out in the research was that an oral supplement called, Stem-Kine, did eventually multiply the amount of endothelial progenitor cells in circulation by two after some healthy volunteers had used the drug for 2 weeks.
There were many associates in the research project namely;

5. The Dove Clinic for Integrative Medicine

10. The Bio-Communications Research Institute
Yet the research is available “Journal of Translational Medicine”, where viable information is provided to describe how endothelial functioning helps to rejuvenate our internal organs. Eventually EPC (endothelial precursor cells) acts as a constant resource to replace senescent and damaged blood vessels. All major pathologies associated to declining endothelial cells, according to clinical trials can be hampered to a certain degree. Food supplements such as Stem-Kine appear to work effectively in the matter.
