Once Banned from Eternal life in the Garden of Eden, It is Hard to Get Back

In a pure theological stance from the bible in the Genesis, we were banned from immortality once Adam and Eve tasted the apple from the tree of knowledge and eternal life. Humans were exiled form Paradise and this is often referred to as God’s capricious wrath that led to man’s banishment from the holy garden.

Yet, the story does not really end here, God, led them out of the Garden of Eden so that Adam and Eve who were already sinners wouldn’t live forever in their impoverished state (sinner). However, since generation and centuries humans have been slowly trying to find another garden and a second tree of immortality.

There are several magazines which are having all encompassing coverage on the quest for astonishing longevity and perhaps eventually immortality or eternal life. On Average in America people live to the age of 78. It is more than 30 years of what it was in the 20st Century. Times Magazine, expects that the life expectancy for babies born in 2050 will be approximately 89 years.

New researches are being published daily on achievement towards longevity. Some recent research encompassed the possibility that omega-3 acids decrease the speed of “telomeres shortening”. Consuming a high amount of fish and supplement can thus make a trick to gain longevity.

Moreover, “telomeres” are the tips protecting the end of chromosomes. The longer the telomeres are the better are the chances for the longevity. In other words, telomeres are a kind of marker that indicates the biological age of an individual. For instance, stress has been proved to shorten telomeres and thus increase the biological age of an individual which is negative to life extension efforts.

It has also been shown that regular exercise has positive contribution to increase the length of telomeres. They assure healthiness.
Another substance known as resveratrol has been found to have many anti-aging attributes. Resveratrol is present in red wine.

A research on “obesity correlation to early death and that obesity outweigh the positive effect of cancelling smoking habits is sad news”. There is a calorie-restriction theory that predicts that cutting down on calories will prolong life span. Yet, there might be very few who will opt for starving for the sake of longevity. It might just not be the right pathway to increase lifespan as well.

The other level of life extension intervention covers anti-aging supplements and drugs. It includes; genetic engineering, hormones treatment, stem cell therapies and DNA injection all geared to slow down aging. This is purely scientific area of aging, where much is still in an experimental phase.

There are many women who prefer the easiest way. They simply state that they are 5 years above their actual age. People simply get amazed and may give praise such as you look perfect and young for your age.

There is a basket full of experiments, which are all paving their way nearer to the “Eden” where another tree of eternal life has been seeded. Yet, there might not be much of a promise to immortality while extending human lifespan seems an inevitable result according to scientists, researchers and past trends.
