On realage.com, there is a tool known as cholesterol assessment that will help you to understand the risk of having high cholesterol. First of all, it should be noted that it is really dangerous as it increases the risk of heart diseases.

People need to know is what leads to high cholesterol and what can be done to reduce the cholesterol levels. Diets have a crucial role in the process of lowering cholesterol levels.

The Five best foods that should be consumed to reduce Cholesterol levels are:

1.	Oatmeal
2.	Omega 3 Fatty Acids – Fish
3.	Walnuts
4.	Oliver Oil
5.	Margarine

- High Fiber Foods like Oat Bran and Oatmeal

In oatmeal, there is soluble fiber, which can easily lower the intensity of low-density lipoprotein {LDL} or so called ‘bad’ cholesterol. It should also be noted that soluble fiber can be found in pears, barley, prunes, beans and kidney beans.

Consuming 10 grams of soluble fiber can significantly reduce the absorption of cholesterol, into an individual’s bloodstream, therefore, lowering LDL cholesterol. The consumption of one and half-cup of cooked oatmeal provides 6 grams of fiber. The consumption of fruits like able will increase the amount of fiber by 4 grams.

-	Omega-3 Fatty Acids – Fish

Fish is known to have a high volume of omega-3 fatty acid, which is good for the heart. It can lower the blood pressure and therefore, decreases the potential risk of having additional blood clots.

For people who have already experienced a heart attack – the consumption of fish oil can lower the potential risk of an instant death.

Doctors do generally recommend consuming two servings of fish per week.
The fish with the highest amount of omega-3 fatty acid is found in:

1.	Mackerel
2.	Lake trout
3.	Herring
4.	Sardines
5.	Albacore tuna
6.	Salmon
7.	Halibut

In addition, while cooking fish people should avoid putting in unhealthy fats. For those who do not like fish can get omega-3 fatty acids from canola and flaxseed oil.

-	Almonds, Walnuts as well as other types of nuts

Nuts help to decrease blood cholesterol. The density of polyunsaturated fatty acids in almonds and walnuts assures that blood vessels are healthy. The Food and Drug administration recommends the consumption of 42.5 grams of nuts per day. This includes all types of nuts, pistachio nuts, hazelnuts, pecans, pine nuts, almonds and walnuts, as they have properties, which decrease the risk of heart diseases.

Yet, the nuts shouldn’t be coated with sugar or salted –

Nuts are also rich in calories so one handful should be enough. Consuming too many nuts can lead to weight gaining.

-	Olive oil

There is strong evidence that olive oil, have special properties, which help to reduce ‘bad’ cholesterol, but it leaves ‘good’ cholesterol.

According to the Food and Drug Administration, two tablespoons of olive oil added to your diet will spur heart-healthy advantageous. It is common to add olive oil to vegetables, marinade, or even diets. For example, while basting meat; olive oil can be used instead of butter. However, do note that olive oil has a high amount of calories so do not consume too much, or else you will gain weight.

The best type of olive oil is the extra-virgin olive oil which is less processed and contains more heart-healthy antioxidants. It also has stronger cholesterol-reduction effects.

-	For Example Margarine – Food with plant sterols/stanols

There some foods that have this substance found in plants sterols and stanols which inhibits the absorption of cholesterols.

For instance, orange juice, margarines and yogurt drinks having added plant sterols can lower LDL cholesterol with above 10 percent. Daily at least 2 grams of plant sterols should be consumed, so a fortified orange juice with plant sterols a day would be an ideal power drink.

Plant sterols as well as stanols do not affect good cholesterol as well as triglycerides.

Lesson learnt
People should change both diet and lifestyle. It is essential to c food with high sources of high-density lipoprotein/ good cholesterol.

You stared in the mirror one day to the reflection of a wrinkled, haggard face and graying hair; and that was when reality hits you hard that your body is gradually surrendering to your increasing age. Not to mention, your cell system is becoming less responsive. A unique class of cells, known as adult stem cells, is essential in regenerating torn and aged tissues, but unfortunately, these cells are not exempt from the process of aging. Stem Cell 100TM may be able to relieve your frustration over your aging body. After several research studies on stem cells, telomeres and genes, Stem Cell 100TM is invented to regenerate adult stem cells and their microenvironments, which ultimately promotes anti-aging and rejuvenation – giving you a youthful, vibrant and healthy look.

Slowing the aging process with stabilized stem cells

A majority of people are forced to succumb to the tormenting experience of growing old and being unremittingly ill. However, scientific research shows that future regenerative medicine will be able to cure or significantly improve the health issues troubling most humans. Stem Cell 100TM moves the belief of the scientific community a step closer to reality by providing a few advantages of current stem cell treatments via a boost in the functions of adult stem cells.

As mentioned earlier, the cell therapeutic product encourages the regeneration of adult stem cells, which is effective in maintaining “normal” blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol levels, as well as in sustaining the health of your heart, immune system, colon, prostate, pancreas and breasts. A healthy inner body will eventually lead to a radiant skin complexion, improved focus and memory, and better stamina.

Stem Cell 100TM aims to reverse the negative effects of aging and help the body recover the regenerative ability similar to that of a child – fast, efficient mending and renewal of damaged tissues due to youthful regenerative stem cells – by “stabilizing stem cell function”. The product intends to regain a nourishing microenvironment for stem cells to improve their growth and ability to patch up damages, of which under normal circumstances, will deplete as we age.

Comparing Stem Cell 100TM with other commercial cell therapeutic products

Unlike other stem cell products in the market which accelerate or increase stem cell production, Stem Cell 100TM enhances instead, the efficiency and durability of stem cells, and at the same time, maintaining the microenvironment around them. It is deemed as a more successful stem cell treatment as the number of stem cells in a person’s body is rather inadequate, thus hastening their use in stem cell production may not be a decent approach.

The effects of Stem Cell 100TM on an animal model

Both normal and maximum life expectancy of the Drosophila (fruit fly) species was significantly prolonged during a massive experiment on Stem Cell 100TM. Six cages of fruit flies were involved in the research, of which Cages T1 to T3 were treated with Stem Cell 100TM and with Cages, C1 to C3 acting as untreated controls. Five hundred fruit flies (250 males and 250 females) were released into each enclosure at the beginning of the experiment. The end results proved that the product had “more than doubled” the average life expectancy of the Drosophila species with a 123 percent boost.

Indirectly, the study predicted the product’s ability to increase the median lifespan of mankind to 167 years. Fruit flies were used in this laboratory test due to the similarities they share with humans – a cardiovascular system with cardiac arrest being their leading cause of death, and a difficult-to-expand life expectancy. The findings surpass all other anti-aging therapies that have been previously assessed, which include genes alterations and diet control.

The fruit flies that were treated with the Stem Cell 100TM had a boast in their maximum life expectancy with 89 days, whereas the untreated controls only managed to live to a maximum of 48 days. The outcome showed an 85 percent raise in the maximum lift expectancy of fruit flies, which is the same as a person extending his life to 191 years. It is true that other possibilities may have caused the sole longest living Drosophila to survive longer, for example genetic mutation. However, the scenario was not abnormal, because several other fruit flies had managed to live nearly the same number of days. The eldest of the treated Drosophila, which constituted 5 percent of the entire group, had a 77 percent longer life than the eldest 5 percent of the untreated controls.

In addition, the research also demonstrated an enhancement in the capability of the Drosophila species to endure anxiety and disease at all life stages. The early days of the research had already depicted an obvious increase in the number of treated fruit flies that managed to live to adulthood as compared to the untreated controls.

Stem Cell 100¬TM and its four patent-pending herbal components

Stem Cell 100TM consists of elements from four important natural herbs that are commonly extracted for their active ingredients that regenerate adult stem cells and reduce inflammatory response – Astragalus membranaceus, Pterocarpus marsupium (Indian Kino tree), Pine Bark and Camellia sinesis. Polysaccharides, flavonoids, and astragalosides are extracted from Astragalus membranaceus, and are useful in maintaining stem cells, as well as the cardiovascular and immune systems. Marsupsin and pterostilbene, however, are two “stable resveratrol analogs” extracted from Pterocarpus marsupium (Indian Kino tree), which encourage stem cell growth, reduce inflammatory response and stabilize the metabolism level.

Pine Bark extracts contain Flavonoids and oligo-proanthocyanidins (OPCs), which can prevent reactive oxygen species imbalance, and lower DNA damage and inflammatory response. Camellia sinesis, which is the last of four herbs mentioned, contains a natural amino acid named L-Theanine that promotes stress and inflammation reduction, and at the same time, enhance the human learning abilities while preventing ischemic or toxic brain injury.

Potential users

Stem Cell 100TM can be consumed by the adult age group of 22 years or more. Younger users, particularly those in their 20s and 30s, will enjoy the improvement in stamina during intense exercise routines, whereas elder consumers will benefit from their noticeably healthier and energetic lives.

In our young days, the benefit of eating fruits and vegetables is a tale told by many mothers. Candies are the worse things that children can consume. This has been known for years, but it is only recently that a study conducted at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, confirms the mother was always right.

Our mother has always tried to increase our longevity, at least, when speaking about parents who are encouraging their children to consume vegetables and fruits.

It is certain that, longevity is still something subject to variation based on different determinants, and vegetables are amidst one of the factors. Our lifespan is increased in several ways when vegetables are consumed; it forms part of a healthy diet and lifestyle.

A research of the study, Dr. Xianglan Zhang, said that consuming fruits and vegetables help us to live longer, as it improves our cardiovascular health.

There are some vegetables that are more powerful than others, for example, plants coming from the mustard family, like cauliflower and broccoli.. These vegetables are concentrated with glucosinolates, Fibre and vitamin C.

The study involved roughly 135,000 participants coming from the large city of Shanghai in China. The adults involved in the study reported their eating habits together with their health history. The participants were thereafter classified into 5 different categories..

After five years of constant follow-up, 4 % of the total participants had deceased. It was found that those who consumed more vegetables and fruits had a 15 percent lower risk of dying when comparing too people who ate less fruits and vegetables.

The key fact in the study was that, people who consumed mustard family vegetables had a significantly lower risk of dying.

A special pattern was also identified for people who tended to die from heart disease. It was also concluded that vegetables and fruit consumption did not have any association with the risk of cancer.

According to Dr. Lydia Bazzano from Tulana University of Health Sciences in New Orleans, this study contains promising results. Yet, the research does not provide conclusive results that confirm that vegetables and fruits prolong our lifespan.

Unfortunately, the study did not consider other factors such as weight, age, exercise, smoking and vitamins consumed. These are some of the other factors that determine human longevity.

The underling advice provided by the study is that people should increase their consumption of mustard family plants.

Nowadays, above 600,000 deaths in the U.S are caused by heart diseases. The consumption of two to four cups a day can drastically reduce the risk of such disease according to the CDC.

Some of the direct and known benefits of diets which are rich in vegetables and fruits are decrease risk of stroke, heart attack, cancer, as well as lower blood pressure, less risk of digestive and eye problems.

Anti-aging products can have side effects. So, the safest way to increase our odds of living longer is to reduce the intake of calories.

The American Medical Associate (AMA) did in 2009 diagnose the benefits and side-effects of taking testosterone, DHEA, hormone or estrogen for anti-aging. According to AMA, the danger of consuming anti-aging products is greater than their benefits.

The anti-aging industry has expanded fundamentally during the last 10 years. However, the most famous mushroomed anti-aging solution is growth hormone.

Adophe Brown Sequard was a 19th century scientist who provided this special elixir for free. – The growth hormone – were testicles of dogs or guinea pigs of an average age of two years, were kept in water and extracted to be blended with blood coming from the testicular veins, in case someone needed it. Today, this magical growth hormone solution costs around $42,000.

The effort undertaken by Adolphe Brown Sequard, led to the emergence of a new science known as endocrinology. His graceful donation has helped the industry to grow into a global power. Anti-aging products accounted for roughly $115.5 billion in 2008. It is tantamount to Iraq’s GDP.

AMA findings are paradoxical. It is believed that powerful chemical used in anti-aging products helps people to look young. However, there is apparently some dangerous side- effect associated with growth hormones. For instance, people who suffer from pituitary glands or over produce growth hormone, risk early lung or heart failure. Besides, they may experience unusual growth in tissues and organs as well.

Steroid testosterone is known for generating muscle mass. However, the effect goes further. Steroid testosterone leads to reproductive and sexual disorder, acne and fluid retention. The long-term effect can be stroke, heart damage or even brain tumors.

Commonly, a lower level of growth hormone is associated to better health. Studies have found that hormone replacement does have some remarkable short-term effects. However, the long-term effect of hormone replacement is somehow subjective. It can instigate cardiovascular disease, cancer and changes in behaviours.

The safest way to increase human longevity might simply be to reduce the intake of calories. A diet with fewer calories tends to lower hormone growth, which apparently activates particular genes linked with longevity.

In the 1935, Clive McCay and Mary Crowell from Cornell University performed laboratory animal research to comprehend calorie restriction. They scrutinized the effect of regulating calorie intake on longevity. It was found that calorie restriction worked pretty well on all animal species that were examined. It tended to retard aging and increased longevity for the subject species by 30 to 40 percent. – The low calorie diets had essential nutrients. –

‘Roy Walford’ wrote a book on calorie restriction entitled: “Beyond the 120 Year Diet: How to Double Your Vital Years” The book emphasised on essential nutrients and rich diets. The healthiest diets should only have 30 percent of the current average consumption of calories per day.

Winter is a great time of the year filled with joy. Yet, the weather is a strong cause for dry skin. It is essential treat your skin with utmost care from windy summer days to cold winter nights.

A dermatologist from Miami, Dr. Karen Kade provides some hints how people can prevent skin-aging despite the exposure of changing weathers. She says that our skin usually gets dried during the winter. It is thus essential to apply moisture-creams on our skin. In addition, some medicines can equally cause skin dryness. Dr. Kade suggests that those medicines should be used less frequently during winters.

In the winter, some tips to avoid dryness have been provided by Dr. Kade. After a shower, one should preferable pat the towel against the skin and not rub it. This is especially crucial in cold and dry weathers. According to Dr. Kade roughly 20 percent of the population suffers from minor skin irritation caused by rubbing of the towel (called ‘keratosis pilaris). In addition, moistures having lactic acids or alpha hydroxyl acids should preferable be applied to our skin.

According to Dr. Kade, it isn’t necessary to spend much money on specialised anti-wrinkle creams. The best way to address dry skin is to use moisturizers with sunscreen. An efficient product is Neutrogena with Helioplex. Simple creams having sunscreens, protects the smoothness and texture of the skin against dry and sunny weathers.

Five products that Dr. Kade recommends at the Drug Store:

1.	Antioxidants

Conducive intake of antioxidants prevents oxidation to cells. Antioxidants prevent damages generated by air pollution, sunlight and smokes. Antioxidants can be considered as a protecting coat that prevents our skin from rusting and tarnishing. Antioxidants aren’t usually present in moisture creams so it is appropriate purchase them separately. Foods such as berries contain a high concentration of antioxidants.

2.	Vitamin A

Vitamin A and Retinol have proven to retard or even counteract against wrinkles. In most anti-aging creams, there is a high concentration of vitamin A and Retinol.

3.	Peptides

There is a biologically active compound known as Peptides. The substance increases the production of collage, which is an essential protein for our skin. Young people have a rich density of collagen, and that explains the tightness and firmness of their skin.

4.	Safeguard one from UVB and UVA Rays

UVB rays cause sunburns. However, the exposure to UVA is what really induces skin aging. These rays are hard to escape; they penetrate through car windows and even glass. This is why it is fundamental to use sunscreen protection for both UVB and UVA rays.

5.	Alpha Hydroxy Acids

In this category, we can find lactic acid (found in coconut oil), salicylic acid and glycolic acid. Dr. Kade says that these acids exfoliate on the upper layer of our skin. In other words, it induces smoother complexion and fills small pore. She says that alpha hydroxyl acids act similar to reversing the peeling of onion layers.

Research carried out by a research team that comprises of a physician from Saint Louis University has demonstrated that a compound that operate in the differing way like growth hormone can annul a number of the signs of ageing. This discovery can be counter-intuitive to several adults who consume growth hormone believing that the latter will be helpful in revitalizing them.

An online publication of this research can be found in the December edition of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

In accordance John E. Morley, who is the co-investigator of the study, these discoveries are very significant. The latter who is also the Saint Louis University School of Medicine’s director of geriatric medicine and endocrinology, is of this view as many persons regularly take growth hormones thinking that it will result in a fountain of youth.

He further advanced that the majority of senior people have been consuming growth hormones in order to rejuvenate them. As far as the result of the research is concerned, it strongly implies that when growth hormones are taken by middle aged or older persons, it can prove to be hazardous.

The MZ-5-156 compound was studied by the researchers. The MZ-5-156 compound is well-known as a “growth hormone-releasing hormone antagonist.” The SAMP8mouse model was used for carrying out the investigations by the researchers. The SAMP8mouse model is a strain generated in order to study the ageing process.

In general, the scientists discovered that the MZ-5-156 compound had optimistic impact on oxidative stress in the human brain, thus bringing an improvement in cognition, lifespan, telomerase activity (actions performed by an enzyme that safeguards DNA material) all while bringing a reduction in tumor activity.

The MZ-5-156, similar to several GHRH antagonists, repress various human cancers; lung, brain, breast and prostate cancers. The compound also had positive impacts on learning. It is also linked to enhancements in short-term memory. The antioxidant actions resulted in a decrease of oxidative stress thus rendering the cognitive impairment in the ageing mouse null.

In accordance to the senior author of the study, who is also a professor of internal medicine and geriatrics, University of Washington, Seattle, William A. Banks, the results of the research directed the research team to ascertain the antagonists of growth hormone-releasing hormone have advantageous impacts on ageing.

Resveratrol is a famous plant extract that has been shown to extend life in yeast and lower animals because of its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Moreover, it seems that resveratrol suppresses inflammation in human beings. This assumption has been made based on the results that have been obtained from the initial prospective human trial of the extract that has been conducted by the University at Buffalo endocrinologists. The result of the study that has been carried out has appeared as a rapid electronic publication in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism website. The result will also be published in a future print issue of the said journal.

Furthermore, the paper has been chosen to be included in Translational Research in Endocrinology & Metabolism. The latter is a novel online anthology that focuses on the most recent clinical applications of advanced research from journals of the Endocrine Society.

When a number of plants are under attack by pathogens, like fungi or bacteria, the compound, resveratrol, is produced naturally. It can be found in red wine as well as in the skin of red grapes. Moreover, it is produced through chemical synthesis that derived mainly from Japanese knotweed. Additionally, it is sold like a nutritional supplement.

In accordance to Husam Ghamin, a PhD, who is a UB research assistant professor of medicine in addition to being the senior author of the study, resveratrol has been demonstrated to extend life other than bringing a reduction in the rate of aging in yeast, fruit flies and roundworms. These actions are thought to be influenced by an increased in the expression of a specific gene that is linked with longevity.

Besides, the compound is considered to play a part in the resistance of insulin as well. This condition is associated with oxidative stress which has a considerable damaging impact on health in general.

One of UB eminent professor of medicine, Paresh Dandona, MD, PhD, who is also a leading author of the study, says that since there is no illustrating impact of resveratrol on oxidative and inflammatory stress in human beings. He explains that they decided to verify if there is the possibility that the compound can bring a reduction in the level of oxidative as well as inflammatory stress in man.

He adds that several of the main mediators of insulin resistance are pro-inflammatory as well. They therefore examined the impact of resveratrol on the way they express themselves.

The study which was directed by Dandona was carried out at Kaleida Health’s Diabetes-Endocrinology Center of Western New York.

A nutritional complement that contained 40 milligrams of resveratrol was made used of as the active product. Twenty random participants were categorised in two groups of ten. One of the two groups was given the supplement. On the other hand, the other group was given a similar pill but containing no active ingredient. The participants were given the pill once on a daily basis for a period of six weeks. Fasting blood samples were gathered at the beginning of the trial as well at week one, three and finally six.

The results demonstrated that resveratrol was able to suppress the generation of free radicals or reactive oxygen species. The later is also referred to as being unstable molecules that are famous for causing oxidative stress and hence discharge pro-inflammatory factors in the blood stream. As a consequence, this results in harm to the blood vessel lining.

The blood samples that were gathered from the people who were taking the resveratrol also confirmed that it suppressed inflammatory protein tumour necrosis factor (TNF) in addition to likewise compounds that leads to a rise in the inflammation of blood vessels and cause interference in insulin action, thus leading to insulin resistance and the probability of developing diabetes.

As Dandona noted, over the long term, these inflammatory factors have an effect on the growth of type 2 diabetes, stroke, heart disease and aging.

On the other hand, the blood samples that were taken for the persons who received the pill without the resveratrol demonstrated no alteration in these pro-inflammatory markers.

Even though these results are quite promising, Dandona included a note of caution; the study that was conducted did not eradicate the probability that something found in the extract other than resveratrol was accountable for the anti-inflammatory effects.

He adds that the product that they used contained a mere 20 percent of resveratrol. Therefore, there is the possibility that something else in the preparation might be accountable for the optimistic effects. It is even possible that these agents are more powerful than resveratrol. They acknowledge that purer preparations are nowadays available and they do intend to test them.

The nine year study which involved 31,823 middle aged as well as elderly Swedish women, scrutinized the association between how eating high-quality chocolate influenced the risk of heart failure.

It was found in the study that the consumption of high quality chocolate; higher density of cocoa such as dark chocolate had the following results:
1.	Women consuming on average roughly one to two servings of fine quality chocolate per week had as much as 32 percent less risk of suffering from heart failure.
2.	Women who consumed only 1 to 2 servings of high quality chocolate per month had 26 percent lesser risk of heart failure.
3.	However, those who ate one serving of chocolate per day had apparently no positive benefits countering heart failure.

According to Murray Mittleman, M.D., Dr. P.H the lead research for this study said that women eating chocolate everyday probably do not have the protective effects of chocolate as their calories are gained primarily from chocolate and not from nutritious food.

Mittleman the director of the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Research Unit at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston says that it can’t be escaped that chocolate is relative dense in calories and is often a source of weight gaining. However, for a small treat twice per week chocolate is an ideal choice.

According to short studies, chocolate concentrated with the substance known as ‘flavonoids’ help in decreasing blood pressure. However, this current study is the first one to demonstrate how ‘flavonoids’ help to establish long-term benefits to cardiovascular diseases.

The study was carried-out by self-reported food-frequency questionnaire on participant aged from 48 to 83 years. The analysis was then associated with statistics from national Swedish hospitalization as well as death registries from the period 1998 to 2006. The study used various statistical modelling to come to the outcome that moderate consumption of chocolate help to reduce the risk of heart failure.

According to Mittleman, the variation in the quality of chocolate affects the implication of consuming chocolate. For instance, in Sweden even milk chocolate has a higher density of cocoa than dark chocolate available in the United States.

In pure terms, 90 percent of the chocolates consumed in Sweden were milk chocolate, but they contained a total of 30 percent of cocoa solids. However, for the American standard only 15 percent of cocoa solid is required in dark chocolate. In other words, American chocolate is less beneficial for the heart compared to the chocolate eaten by Swedish women.

According to Linda Van Horn, Ph.D., R.D., past chair of the American Heart Association Nutrition Committee and professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago says that the idea is not to eat more chocolate to be healthy rather to eat moderately.

According to Mittleman, ways that can help to decrease heart failure is worth considering. Currently, one percent of all Americans above the age of 65 years suffer from heart failure as they age.

It will surely be considered one of humankinds most remarkable discoveries when it is finally – well, discovered. We have been nowhere near having any kind of pill, potion or elixir that will halt, curb or reverse the advancement of age. It is not like man has not been doing his utmost to find a way to stop or just better control aging.

Aging is a slow and deliberate process that gradually saps our senses and strength, resulting in loss of memory, physical difficulties, age related diseases and even grey hair and wrinkles, as if all of those were not bad enough! Fear not though, The Science of Anti Aging and Life Extension is finally beginning to make some steps forward.

The process of biological aging is a very inconsistent progression. The lucky few who win the genetic lottery will age slower than the majority without the numerous hereditary characteristics showcased by longevity. We can also see simply by observing those around us that certain environmental factors play a role in the aging process – prematurely for the most part which reaches beyond anything genetic.

One of these that is quite consistent in many folks is early onset aging due to acute stress. In addition, a majority of research scientists place the cause squarely on the stress hormone known as cortisol. Cortisol is quite damaging to the hypothalamus whose job it is to normalize favorable hormones within the body. Most of our hormone activity is reduced as we age; cortisol is elevated and acts to further drop our hormone levels.

Our cells become harmed when they are impacted by the numerous contaminants we are exposed to and these cells are vital for our tissue regeneration. Inevitably the damaged cells are utilized as replacements for older cells that die off and this means the replacement cells are less reliable than the original cell they replaced. In time, likely too early, these damaged cells no longer duplicate.

The cells in our body has a dual job, that of a pump and also a filter. The pump action allows fuel to enter for cells and moves waste byproducts out. There is an aging theory known as the Membrane theory that states in time, this procedure of receiving fuel and pumping out waste and contaminants gets less effective and the aging process begins. The toxins then accumulate, usually in the heart, lungs and skin, adding to the theory since people generally suffer from health difficulties as they age in these vital regions of the body.

The majority of scientists and age researchers believe the reason we age is because of the Free Radical Theory. This is when reactionary chemical substances called free radicals are let loose within our bodies to wreak havoc and destroy tissue in a degenerative process. When at hand in moderate amounts, the free radicals are actually very useful for the human host. It is when they become excessive that the trouble begins. Free radicals do their utmost to remove the electrons from other molecules and while doing so continuously they simply exhaust the cells that are affected by this electron grab, upsetting their molecular equilibrium.

HGH Supplements And Their Pledge

Research has been helpful in enabling a better understanding about how we progress in age. Substantial head way has been achieved in slowing the process of aging through various means. Nutrition improvements offer a healthy solution such as consuming more fruits and veggies. Any snacks should be high in protein levels to assist with hormone activity. Increased vitamin C [water soluble] and vitamin E [fat soluble] are known to aid the anti aging process.

About twenty years ago a researcher named Dr. Daniel Rudman confirmed that HGH could in fact reverse the advancement of aging. The primary research displayed a regeneration of internal organs. This verified evidence was made possible utilizing the injectible variety, but calculating the IGF-1 [an indication of the level of HGH] provided the investigative base line. Since this initial scientific study was conducted, there have been thousands of further tests done with HGH that confirm the initial findings.

The majority of these studies were conducted using Secretagogues – piles of amino acids and other proprietary elements meant to trigger the pituitary gland to generate elevated amounts of HGH. The “triggering” elements are referred to as secretagogues. When HGH is attained in this manner the expensive of the therapy in reduced dramatically but the HGH is also discharged more innately. There is no better method of utilizing HGH within the human system to stem the progression of aging than to do so naturally.

In China there is a proverb that goes something like – a daily cup of tea keeps you out of the pharmacy. That may be pushing it somewhat but I am about to discuss the amazing health benefits you can achieve when drinking tea. Not just any tea mind you, oolong tea to be specific. Oolong tea is interconnected to green tea and black tea, since all three are derived from the same plant. Green tea is created from the dried leaves of the plant while black tea is made from the tea leaves undergoing a fermentation procedure. Oolong tea is made by partially fermenting the tea leaves before they are dried.

High cholesterol is a precursor to forms of heart disease and triglycerides and cholesterol [both are fat substances found in the bloodstream], while important to your overall health, can begin to accumulate within the lining of your arteries. They begin to get narrower and the blood flow becomes constrained. The result of this process can mean contracting numerous deadly illnesses such as coronary thrombosis or heart attack as well as strokes – having high cholesterol is a very dangerous thing.

Research in a number of nations has revealed how a number of tea varieties appear to effect the production of cholesterol building in the bloodstream by decreasing cholesterol in blood fats. Of the tea brands tested, oolong tea was responsible for the greatest outcome. Tea is loaded with polyphenols and the suspicion is that these polyphenols impede the absorption of cholesterol when it is in the digestive system. This in turn reduces the level of cholesterol within the blood stream. As enlightening as this is there is still more, confirmation was discovered that these polyphenols in tea reduce the propensity of blood to create thrombi, these are dangerous blood clots.

Being grossly overweight or just some measure of obesity is becoming far too commonplace in our modern society. When a person is suffering from obesity it is much easier for them to fall victim to numerous heart conditions and diseases. In today’s fast paced environment many individuals find it easier to exist on junk food rather than preparing a healthy diet plan. This ultimately means your body will pay the price by clinging to this added fat and become devoid of the numerous minerals, vitamins and antioxidants your body requires to function optimally. The Chinese believe consuming tea will aid in the reduction of fat deposited in a person’s tissue. Oolong tea specifically receives the most accolades for this breakthrough discovery, though most tea probably will have some form of fat fighting advantage.

Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners could easily refer to any number of successful situations where individuals have experienced weight reduction due to the consumption of two or three cups of oolong tea each day. When oolong tea is combined with various other herbal elements together they form the basis for specific teas that are marketed commercially for weight reduction.

One particular Chinese advertisement for a weight reducing tea states that consuming it for a period of 90 days can assist tea drinker dropping upwards of fifteen pounds of excess weight. Whether or not drinking tea will actually aid in such dramatic weight reduction remains to be seen but there is enough evidence that it should certainly form part of any diet or slimming program.

Quite a bit of study has been committed to the part that tea drinking plays in cancer prevention. For instance, from twenty five health related reports that were offered at a Hangzhou Conference, nearly one third of these had to do with research into cancer and oolong tea. The studies have revealed that there is definitely a correlation between oolong tea and how it combats cancer by impeding the development or functional activity of carcinogenic substances. It seems that the epigallo catechin gallate or [EGCC] lowers the incidence of unrestrained DNA duplication.

Another well known antioxidant is vitamin E; EGCC is thought to be approximately two hundred times more potent at disposing of free radicals from the system. One more manner that oolong tea could aid in the battle against cancer is by stemming mutation in cells. The powerful antioxidant characteristics of oolong tea might impede this mutation of healthy cell DNA that can lead them to becoming cancerous cells.

Meat that has been cured has in it nitrates which could be transformed into nitrosamines during the process of digestion. Nitrosamines have been proven to be a cancer causing agent. Tea is capable of inhibiting the function of nitrosamines that are responsible for causing any cancer according to a physician named Han Chi, also an associate professor at the Institute of Nutrition and Food Hygiene, linked to the Chinese Academy of Preventative Medicine. One study evaluated one hundred forty five varieties of tea and Dr Han and her associates actually rated green tea the most effectual, which had an inhibiting factor of ninety percent. This was immediately followed by oolong tea and black tea in order as the fermentation procedure eradicates the EGCC. When the oolong tea is fermented during the production phase, the EGCC quantity is reduced by roughly fifteen percent.

Centuries past in China, tea was a significant element in various immortality elixirs used often by Taoists. Even in this day and age, maybe just a resonance from the ancients, testimony is rampant that consuming oolong tea and other types are responsible for the old age acquired by many people. It is by no means a magic potion for immortality or youth but it does have many benefits that certainly add to a person’s longevity. It encourages optimal functionality of one’s body systems; it triggers the immune system, aids in optimized stomach function and assists in lowering the risk of developing heart disease. Tea also contains fluoride which helps build strong bones to prevent osteoporosis while it strengthens dental enamel.

Women who are pregnant or lactating should limit their oolong tea consumption to minimal quantities, it could also get in the way of MAO inhibitors and medications whose job is to thin the blood. When you consume oolong tea it could hinder the absorption process of any prescription medications you are taking. You have been reading about the benefits of oolong tea only and in no way should this information be substituted for medical advice from a qualified physician. You should always seek consultation with your primary health care professional prior to taking any new medication or herbal remedy or combining the same.
