Anti Aging Management – Lifestyle Choices, Positive Attitude And Physical Health

Researchers in the anti aging field have been all aflutter lately regarding the experiments done on rodents that show a reduction in calories and some sensible exercise will actually slow down and potentially reverse the process of aging – in rats at least. It is thought [and is on track toward verification] that cell death and related damage due to age and organ complication from aging, is a result of molecular instability, cell oxidation and inflammation. Reducing caloric intake manages inflammation and this in turn impedes the cellular mortality.

One of the sciences principal missions is to determine primarily – how we age. The current theory regarding our aging process is our cells inability to duplicate them, known in the labs as replicative senescence. When a cell has lost the ability to duplicate itself [at about sixty and ninety copies], the immune system begins to weaken, injuries heal more slowly and epidermis creasing begins.

Your physician can only do so much to assist you since prescribed medications are limited in this area. The most popular therapy for anti aging just now is hormone replacement therapy or [HRT]. Doctors will debate the pros and cons of such treatments but the truth is, not enough is understood about HRT therapy to commit to its effectual nature or whether or not it is really safe. Just as the medical science community comes to grips with its own understanding of the aging process, cosmetics manufacturers are doing back flips in order to combat it. There are innumerable creams, lotions and potions, beauty treatments, chemical interventions and wrinkle curatives available to the consumer today.

It is debatable whether skin creams should be marketed as anti aging treatments. They may very well impede the aging process and in certain cases reverse aging indicators, there is no evidence that they play a role in the longevity of an individual. You will look better at your wake, but below the surface of the skin, your tissue will have degenerated equally as if you had never tried a beauty treatment. Cosmetics still have their role in the battle against aging. Looking great with wonderful skin as you, progress into the latter part of midlife is fine. What must be remembered is that a cosmetics regimen should be amalgamated with certain anti aging procedures to benefit your health as well as your complexion.

Having a healthy approach to aging and extending your life innately are quality objectives for those wishing to approach the aging process fighting. Age is truly a state of mind, we have all heard the phrase and it stands the test of time – so to speak. Everyone knows somebody who by poor attitude, lifestyle choices or simple circumstances approach life and live it as someone much older than they really are. At the same time, we also so know some elderly person who is capable of giving someone half their age a run for their money.

Observing people that exhibit youthful vigor and a passion for life have a common thread, a positive attitude. Everything they do is for a purpose and activity is the spice of their life. They display a positive mental attitude and age is the furthest thing from their thoughts. The more one reminds themselves of their age the older they will feel. Constantly concentrating on the negatives in your life and on your health will impact your psyche in a negative manner.

Use common sense as you age, that wisdom at which you have worked so hard to earn over the years. We all are aware how good we feel when we laugh. It then becomes apparent that if we spend our life – or what remains of it – in a constant state of dissatisfaction or despair, it will impact us in a negative fashion and affect our health and well being. Age is a state of mind for the most part. Keep upbeat about life and at the same time, monitor your physical health by eating right and staying active. Age may be a state of mind but it can take a toll on our physiology as well if we do not look after ourselves as a whole.
