2. Enjoy a Scary Movie
Factors boosting up the speed of your heart such as a scary movie, enthralling books or even falling in love can enforce your heart. Scientists at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center say that accelerating the heart beat rhythm occasionally is similar to pressing the reset button, it supports the heart to keep on operating.

4. Exercise indoor during hot days
A Finnish study concluded that it is not appropriate to do exercise outside during hazy days. During hot days, air pollution is at its most deplorable level, and this decreases the availability of oxygen for the blood. Thus, it increases the risk of blood clotting.

5. Diving
A study in U.K showed that men burning 50 calories a day from demanding activities such as hiking or swimming have a 62 percent lower risk of dying from heart disease in comparison to those who burn around 340 calories a day from less active activities such as golfing and walking.

6. Mediation & Relaxation
A Thomas Jefferson University study demonstrated that mediation help to decrease depression and anxiety by above 25 percent. This is a significant result as earlier the University of Florida had found that coronary artery disease seems to be highly correlated with mental stress. Those being mentally stressed are according to the University of Florida’s study three times more likely to suffer from coronary artery disease than those who are not stressed.

7. Consume Aspirin

The risk of Coronary heart disease can be decreased by 28 percent simply by consuming aspirin. This was reported by a study conducted at the University of North Carolina. To have the most effective outcome, one should consume a tiny dose of aspirin prior to bed time.

8. Depression
People experiencing depression is 50 percent more prone to heart disease in comparison to those who are not depressed. A Duke research involving some 150 women and men showed that a 3-month therapy through exercise and antidepressant helped to alleviate most of the symptoms associated with their depression.

9. Externalize Anger
A recent Harvard study claims that men who internalize anger are more likely to suffer from heart disease compared to those who express anger.

10. Combat Cholesterol through Fat
In an Australia study, 17 participants substituted high cholesterol consumption with macadamia nuts. The macadamia nuts represented around 15 percent of the total calories of their normal diets. The result was that cholesterol decreased by three to five percent and the level of HDL (Good) cholesterol increased by roughly 8 percent. According to the study macadamia is one of the best sources of monounsaturated fat from natural food substances.
